Our recruitment journey — designed around you
Traditional care recruitment can be slow, paper-heavy and frustrating. We’ve rebuilt ours from the ground up as an eight-stage digital journey that most candidates complete comfortably within one to two weeks, not months.
Stage 1 — Chatbot engagement. Every application starts with a friendly conversation on our website. Our recruitment assistant asks a few short pre-screening questions (right to work, driving licence, availability, location) so we can match you to the right role from the outset. No CV needed to begin.
Stage 2 — Quick Apply and AI screening. If you’re a good early fit, you’ll be invited to upload your CV. Our inclusive AI screening tool scores your experience against the role — with a deliberately generous 75/100 baseline, because we know great carers don’t always have polished CVs. Every AI result is reviewed by a human before any decision is made.
Stage 3 — Full application. Successful candidates create an Integrative Care Account and complete a structured online application: personal details, employment history (we ask for at least five years), qualifications, references and equal opportunities monitoring. Every page can be revisited and edited before you submit.
Stage 4 — Application review. Our HR team verifies your certificates against the originals and issuers, then shortlists for interview. You’ll receive a unique Application Submission Reference (e.g. APP-15082026-XXXXXX) so you can track your progress.
Stage 5 — Interview. Interviews are offered by video, phone or in person depending on the role and your location. Panels are trained in values-based interviewing — we’re much more interested in how you’d support someone than in memorised policy definitions.
Stage 6 — Job offer and offer letter. Successful candidates receive a conditional offer letter by email, post or courier as preferred, with clear acceptance instructions.
Stage 7 — Compliance and onboarding. We handle Right to Work, ID and address verification, professional and character references, and DBS checks through our registered umbrella body uCheck. Candidates already on the DBS Update Service can be fast-tracked. You’ll also complete your P46 New Starter Checklist, Working Time Directive opt-out (optional) and a Pre-Employment Health Questionnaire — all digitally, all downloadable as PDFs for your records.
Stage 8 — Contract and full onboarding. Your employment contract is issued and signed on our HRIS (Atlas), and you’re welcomed onto the team.
